Kelly Fitzgerald

Kelly Fitzgerald is a person in long-term recovery and a writer based in Southwest Florida. Her most recent gig was working as a full-time content manager for a group of addiction treatment centers. Kelly is one of the leading advocates in the online recovery space. She is best known for her personal award-winning blog The Adventures of a Sober Señorita and her viral article 7 Things I Learned During My Year Without Alcohol. That article has been republished countless times and translated into Spanish, Korean, German, Portuguese, and French. Her work has been published across the web including sites like The Huffington Post, Thought Catalog, Ravishly, SheKnows, Elite Daily, The Fix, Brit+Co, Addiction Unscripted, Sober Nation, and AfterParty Magazine. In 2016, she was the recipient of the Heroes in Recovery award for courageously paving the way for others to find healing and recovery. Kelly is the co-creator of The Bloom Club, a subscription based recovery club offering virtual coaching through online classes and private community. She has appeared as a guest on HuffPost live as well as several podcasts including Rewire, Sober Life Radio, Sober Living Rocks, The Shair Podcast, Klen and Sobr, Needy Helper, That Sober Guy, The Abortion Diary, and Coming Clean Radio. She is the co-host of her own podcast Regroup, a conversation about all the ups and downs in life that we must regroup from. Kelly is currently taking courses to obtain her CPRC (certified professional recovery coach) certification.
