Brian Lynch, MD

Dr. Brian Lynch is a family medicine physician with nearly 40 years of experience in Chicago. He completed his family medicine residency at St. Mary’s of Nazareth Hospital from 1982 to 1987, where he served as Chief Resident. He subsequently obtained board certification. Dr. Lynch has worked in various settings, including emergency medicine, occupational medicine, primary care, and psychiatry/mental health. He has dedicated much of his career to substance abuse treatment and psychotherapy, influenced by the work of psychologist Silvan Tomkins’ Affect Psychology. Dr. Lynch has dedicated 18 years to prescribing buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid addiction treatment.
